We are a Sámi reindeer-herding family whose lives are deeply intertwined with our reindeer and the nature of the North. We work amidst the fells and forests on traditional grazing lands where our family has followed the reindeer for generations. For us, reindeer herding is not merely a job; it is a way of life and an integral part of Sámi culture. We pass on the knowledge and skills of our ancestors: understanding reindeer behavior, the rhythm of the seasons, and respect for nature. Each season brings its own tasks, and we learn together with our children, who grow up surrounded by reindeer and stories. We wish to cherish our language, our traditions, and our connection to the land that sustains us. Our family business was born from a desire to share this way of life with others. We openly share insights into our work, the significance of reindeer to the Sámi people, and how we care for both the animals and the natural environment. It is important to us that every guest feels welcome, seen, and heard—as if stepping, for a moment, into our family and the long story of reindeer herding.
